Life Drawing

For this day we were doing life drawings.
The reason for doing life drawings was to develop our drawing skills and to explore the human body through studying it with our eyes and drawing it using different medians.

For this drawing, the model was posing towards my direction so I had a full view of the entirety of her body so I filled the entire page with a drawing of her body.

She was striking a pose where one hand was on her hip and the other was in the air as if she was holding something at shoulder level. This pose gave me a great chance to practice my drawing skills of the human body.

For this drawing I just used a pencil and some coloured gel pens for added outlining.

For this drawing, the model was clothed, which added a more difficult aspect to the drawing as I had to now draw the creases and patterns that enveloped onto her clothing.
