Here we were set the task of taking some fashion photography of ourselves and our outfits. So were put into groups and each group was given a DSLR camera to take pictures with.
Here is my favourite picture I took from the day as it captured everyone in my group (Trung, Billa, Abdul, Sam) in quite a natural photo I think as I asked them to just get in them positions and do whatever they feel is natural and then when I thought they were in the right position I took the picture.
What i especially like about this photo is the different layers of focus and perspective. Abdul being the forefront of focus however slightly out of focus, Trung and Billa being in the middle focus, looking the most in focus and then there's Sam who is in the back row and in least focus.
After lunch we then went inside and used some of the studio lighting to create more of a studio, modelling effect to our pictures. This is my favourite picture from the session because I think the lighting is very flattering on the skin and gives a nice warm soft glow to their hair and skin.
I feel that this image could be used for hair product advertisements or for clothing.
