Graphics Rotation - Day 3

For this day we were given a brief to design six squares which were related to us in any way we wanted, whether it be about us, our personalities, our life, our culture, etc. The brief involved having 6 150x150mm squares and we had to think about the text, layout, colour, image, concept and design of these squares and how they would represent us. I planned to have each square as a separate explanation of who I am and what makes me, me. I was to achieve this by drawing a different part of myself in each box such as my name, my nationality, my music, my interests, etc, however with the given amount of time I found this to be not enough time to achieve what I had envisioned, therefore my final piece was not as I had  hoped.

The top left box shows my name. However the letters in my name are all messy and jumbled up, this is to represent my disorganised and messy personality.

The next box is a drawing of a river. This river represents a river in Turkey called Ceyhan, in which I was named after.

The next box is the Turkish flag, which represent my nationality, which makes myself who I am.

The bottom left box is the XO logo which is the symbol of my favourite music artist. This is a big part of me because I listen to music for hours everyday and would feel lost without it as it gets me through most things and always improves my mood.

The next box is a tiger. This represents my personality, as like a tiger, I am quite solitary and prefer to be alone at times, however I can also be aggressive when provoked.

The last box is the EB symbol which is the logo for Bugatti, the car manufacture. This is a very big part of my personality because cars are my passion and i hope to pursue a career in the automotive industry one day.

As I was not happy how my work turned out, I decided to redo it.
